Experienced Clay Pigeon Shooters in Brighton
For the experienced shot, Polowood Shooting Ground has a lot to offer.
Our ground is set in the South Downs on 10 acres of woodland on an 800-acre farm. This enables us to shoot from many positions, giving a huge range of targets.
So bring your gun and try either or both our sporting and compak layouts. These are set to accommodate shooting abilities ranging from C class through to AAA.
The stands vary from decked areas to stands nestled between the trees, with our traps placed strategically around the 10-acre site. There are a variety of targets that include standards, midis, rabbits, chondels.
If you are a game shooter we have a Grouse Butt, tower and driven targets as well as an 8 trap flush. We also have instructors experienced in loading and double gunning. So, if you have a game day booked and would like some practice, we are able to assist. However, booking is required.
You can visit Polowood either by pre-booking on your chosen date or visiting us during one of our Open Shoots.
Please Note: As an environmental issue we only shoot fibre wad cartridges.
